  4. Once the home of William and Suanna Vincent, the Vincent House Museum is the oldest surviving residence on Martha’s Vineyard. Sitting on 20 acres of fields and pastures, the house was donated to the Vineyard Preservation trust in 1977 and now serves to depict what life was like on the island through four centuries.

  4. If you’re looking to spend some time outdoors, make your way to Polly Hill Arboretum in West Tisbury. The grounds are open daily from sunrise to sunset, but the visitor center is closed starting in mid-October.

  • Aquinnah Cliffs Overlook, once called Gay Head, is one of the most visited spots for a reason. Wander the lower beach paths to see the cliffs up close. The upper tails provide views of the Elizabeth Islands and Gay Head Light. 
  • Make the short journey to Lighthouse Beach to see the sailboats come in and out of the harbor. Be sure to take in the Edgartown Lighthouse before heading over to Fuller Street Beach.
