It isn’t REALLY summer until a local theatre troupe rolls out Shakespeare in the warm evening air, is it? This year, the Vineyard Playhouse is presenting two classics, Romeo & Juliet, and, (a personal fav of our marketing director), Twelfth Night.
Productions of The Bard’s plays Romeo & Juliet and Twelfth Night run through August 18 on the Vineyard.
If you enjoy Elizabethan prose and men in tights, these plays by the Bard are just the thing for warm summer nights under the stars on Martha’s Vineyard.
Enjoy these two master works by William Shakespeare from July 25 through August 18 Wednesdays – Saturdays at 5 pm at the Tisbury Amphitheater in Vineyard Haven.
We’ll supply you with a Vineyard Square lawn chair and, if you like, hook you up with a picnic. Just ask at the front desk for help.
General admission for adults: $20; 18 and under $10. Mobile box office : 508-687-2452. If you are in the mood for comedy, Twelfth Night is running: July 26,28 & Aug 1, 3, 9, 11, 15 & 17. Tragedy lovers can catch Romeo & Juliet: July 25, 27 & August 2, 4, 8, 10, 16 & 18.
