Submit a video of your Martha’s Vineyard vacation and you may just win a 4-day winter getaway to a resort in New Hampshire. Show us how you made the most of your summer visit here to “Getaway Central.” 
Document your trip, edit it with style and submit a finished video between 2:00 and 5:00 minutes in length.
The winning video maker will get a 4-night winter getaway stay for up to six to Mountain Club on Loon – the only resort with ski-in, ski-out access to one of SKI MAGAZINE’s Top 20 Eastern Ski Resorts in the famous White Mountains.
Videos can be submitted any time between Memorial Day and the end of September 2013. We’ll also have second and third place prizes. Read on for submission details, restrictions and the “small print”.
Details & Rules Regarding Video Contest
Eligibility: Contest is open to residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of VSH and Loon Mountain Club, as well as other affiliates, representatives and their respective immediate family members and those living in the same household of each are not eligible.
Entry: You are invited to submit a video (“Video”) at least two (2) minutes in length but no longer than five (5) minutes demonstrating how you made the most of your summer visit to “Getaway Central” at Vineyard Square Hotel & Suites (“VSH”). All videos must be submitted via email to VSH (info@vineyardsquarehotel.com) as a link to your page on YouTube. There is no entry fee. By complying with these guidelines, an entry will be entered into the contest to win a 4 night winter stay at the Mountain Club on Loon and will qualify as a participant (“Participant”). The contest begins at 9:00 am DST on May 27, 2013 and ends no later than September 30, 2013 at 5:00 pm DST. Entries received prior to or after this time are not eligible. The Mountain Club on Loon is the only resort with ski-in, ski-out access to one of SKI MAGAZINE’S Top 20 Eastern Ski Resorts in the famous White Mountains. The winner shall receive four nights lodging in a suite, complete with kitchen, able to sleep six people. Ski rental, lift tickets, food and beverages are not included. Blackout dates apply. Prize must be used by April 1, 2014. Any entry submitted by a group must designate one individual to represent that group. You will be notified by October 15, 2013 via email if you are the winner of this contest.
Contest Rules: By submitting a video to VSH, you agree that your submission may be posted on VSH’s website or any related website promoting VSH’s Vineyard property, in VSH’s sole discretion. VSH has no obligation to use or post any submission you submit. By becoming a Participant, you grant to VSH an exclusive, perpetual, transferable license to copy, publish, broadcast, display, distribute, use, edit, translate, alter, combine with other material, reuse and adapt any or all portions of the Video in any way and for any purpose whatsoever, at any time, now or in the future, in any media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world in any manner whatsoever and for any purpose. Videos that are not in accordance with the guidelines as stated herein or are not received during the contest submission period will be ineligible. Videos cannot be (a) sexually explicit or suggestive, violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, profession or age group, profane or pornographic, contain nudity or any materially dangerous activity; (b) promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms or weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or promote any particular political agenda or message; (c ) contain trademarks, logos or slogans owned by third parties, or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind (other than VSH’s trademarks, logos or slogans), without permission, or contain any personal identification other than that of the Participant, (d) contain materials embodying the likeness, name, photograph or other means identifying any person, living or dead, without permission; and (e) cannot itself be in violation of any law. By submitting a Video you represent and warrant to VSH that (a) it is your original work, (b) has not been previously published, (c) has not received previous awards, (d) does not infringe any copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity; (e) that you have obtained permission from a person who is used in the submission or whose name, likeness or voice is used in the submission, if any and (f) that publication of your Video via various media including online posting will not infringe on the rights of any third party. Each Participant will indemnify and hold harmless VSH from any claims to the contrary, including any legal fees or other costs of any kind arising from the defense of such claims. Any Video submitted, in the sole discretion of VSH, may be deemed inappropriate for publication and thus ineligible. Incomplete, illegible, false, deceptive or garbled Videos are not eligible. All submissions become the sole property of VSH and will not be acknowledged or returned. By submitting a Video, you agree that your Video is gratuitous and made without restriction, and will not place VSH under any obligation, that VSH is free to disclose or the ideas contained in the Video on a non-confidential basis to anyone or otherwise use the ideas in such Video without any additional compensation to you. You acknowledge that, by becoming a Participant, VSH does not waive any rights to use similar or related ideas previously known to VSH or developed by its employees or representatives, or obtained from sources other than you.
